Abstract
Measuring distance through obstacles such as brick, wood and concrete by compensating distorted distance according to material of obstacles. This method includes receiving a radar signal reflected from a target object transmitting a obstacle, estimating the material of the obstacle using the waveform of the reflected radar signal, estimating the thickness of the obstacle using the frequency characteristic of the reflected radar signal, and calculating a distance to the target object according to the material of the target obstacle and the thickness of the target obstacle.
* All patents for Xandar Kardian are first filed and granted in South Korea in order to file for PCT or PPH program for EU/USA. This is done for cost reasons and expedited review programs available from the Korea Patent office as well as USPTO. Some patents are recieved by Hanyang University which is then acquired exclusively by WRT LABS before being finally transfered to Xandar Kardian.
