Xandar Kardian Inc. is a medical technology company founded in 2017 and headquartered in Toronto, with research, development and manufacturing in Seoul and an office in New York. Its XK300 radar sensor measures heart rate and breathing rate through the air, from the wall or ceiling, with nothing worn, and is FDA-cleared (510(k) K202464, 2021) and registered in Canada, Australia, Singapore and Thailand. The XK300 is used on hospital wards, in long-term care, in home health and remote patient monitoring, and in correctional and behavioural health; more than 49,000 people have been monitored to date. Kardian, the company’s consumer line, brings the same radar science to the home. Xandar Kardian is privately held.
