Personal Emergency Response System (PERS)

SOS Medical
Emergency Beacon
for home and office.

No camera. No wearable. No batteries to charge.

One of the key instincts in a panic situation is to call for help. Xandar Kardian’s patented SOS system utilizes the most basic natural reaction to safely request SOS assistance without false triggers.

Wherever you may be, medical emergencies can strike without a warning. Wearables or smartphones may not be readily available as well.

“S.O.S”!
“S.O.S”!

A hot-word, such as “S.O.S”! can trigger / wake up the system

Hand Wave
Hand Wave

Utilizing radar technology, the system will look for a hand wave gesture motion for 3 seconds in order to confirm the SOS request.

Confirmation

Optional confirmation mode: “Please confirm the SOS request by saying S.O.S or waving your hand one more time.”

“Help is on the way”
“Help is on the way”

A 3rd party call center or on-site premise security/staff will be able to get the alert and call the Xandar Kardian beacon (becomes a speaker phone). The system obtains presence location, resting heart rate, breathing rate and motion index until help arrives.

Office, Home, Public bathroom, Nursing home, Factories

SOS Beacon
Applicable Locations

Health Emergency can happen anywhere at any time. Employees can come into the office late at night or even over the weekend to take international calls or get some overtime work done. What happens when a sudden health-related attack occurs and no one is around them to help? Even at home, not everyone wants to wear a wearable SOS device and sometimes they can simply forget to wear it.

Upon signaling for help (SOS + wave), it can automatically provide location + movement index + vital signs to local on-premise staff such as security or third party SOS call centers.

Use Case 1

Office

Health Emergency can happen anywhere at any time. Employees can come into the office late at night or even over the weekend to take international calls or get some overtime work done. What happens when a sudden health-related attack occurs and no one is around them to help?

Use Case 2

Home

At home, not everyone wants to wear a wearable SOS device. Sometimes people can simply forget to wear it or forget to charge the battery. During sleep, it can falsely trigger the SOS (toss and turn). While taking a shower, people can place a wearable SOS system outside, defeating the purpose of a PERS device.

Use Case 3

Public Bathroom

Public bathrooms may also pose danger for emergency situations as it is usually hidden away from main foot traffic areas.

Use Case 4

Nursing home

Skilled Nursing, Memory Care, Assisted Living, Independent Living or even Active Adult Living facilities all need to ensure that medical emergencies can be triggered at any moment. Physical push buttons, pull strings may not be reachable in certain situations and wearable devices may create too many false alarms. Xandar Kardian’s SOS system is designed to be triggered with confirmation, but also provide peace of mind in knowing that help is on the way via voice communication and that their location + vital signs are being sent out to them in real-time.

Use Case 5

Factories

Assembly lines, manufacturing (production) facilities of all types are areas where accidents can happen at any moment. While a co-worker may be nearby from time to time, accidents can happen when employees are alone. Making sure help can be triggered and also verifying the location of the person can be vital for safety in these facilities.

Coming Soon.

Xandar Kardian is currently working with multiple SME and Fortune 500 companies to bring this system to life by Q4 of 2020. To receive alerts on the launch of this product please sign up here:
